The Morton Arboretum is a world-renowned nonprofit dedicated to protecting and growing trees locally and globally. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce and database administrator to join our team to develop and support our database systems that meet the strategic needs of the Arboretum. The ideal candidate will develop and support the business processes with the data and information flow between Arboretum systems and support all business functions including philanthropy, Membership, Special Events, and Education programs and help preserve our plant collections across 1,700 acres using technology effectively. Position Summary: Lead the ongoing development and improvement, as well as day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of the Arboretum's Salesforce Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system and other database applications and systems. Work collaboratively with leaders of various departments and functions, as well as subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. Serve as an administrator, technical project manager, and analyst. Provide application and integration support and maintenance to actively meet business needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent required. 3+ years relevant work experience required, in a nonprofit organization working with a fundraising team. Salesforce experience required, with Sales Cloud and Developer certification preferred. Technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting database and application servers, including MSSQL and MySQL servers. Advanced SQL administration skills strongly preferred. Pardot Marketing Automation experience (or an equivalent marketing automation platform) preferred. Project management experience preferred with experience in improving processes and adoption of technology platforms to achieve successful outcomes. Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The expected hiring range for this exempt position is annualized at $87,000 -$97,000 based on experience that will be evaluated during the candidate selection process.
