Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in North Kingstown, RI. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Provide quality service to our customers by the internal auditing of their mail kit product to ensure that the highest production and quality are achieved according to established standards and procedures.
  • General understanding of client's completed mail kit product: Job sheet reading/ filling, ISO/ CQM requirements, Process understanding, and Control plan interpretation.
  • Understanding and application of the non-conformity process.
  • Fully understands and follows established QA procedures while performing the internal QA audit function.
  • Audits jobs from the Data Card, Hand Fulfillment and auto-inserting departments.
  • Understanding of the Company's JAAMS system for the department's audit input procedures.
  • Generate non-conformance reports to management.
  • Provide feedback to the QA manager on any excessive errors discovered during the auditing process.
  • Provide support to the production floor on inspection/ segregation of non-conforming products.
  • Validate new products/ portfolios.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and understanding toward fellow co-workers
  • Ensure conformance to the vision, mission and values of the company.

  • Pay rate: $18.19/Hour.
  • Hours: 40 hours/week 2nd Shift
  • Length: Temp (5 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in calibration and verification concepts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AQL, military standard concept and use.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QA procedures.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in job tracking systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in Quality
  • Basic math skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills are also needed.
  • Be detail-oriented and highly focused to meet the customer's expectations.
  • Basic analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
  • Tactful and mature.
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent people skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal skills needed.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently needs to exercise the use of eyes, ears, hands, and fingers.
  • The employee is continually needed to sit, stand, and walk while lifting up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop as needed.
  • Need a close vision for this job
  • Be flexible with working nights and weekends, as this may be needed for major projects.
