- The Manufacturing Technician assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure the finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements.
- Perform basic computer activities with programs provided
- Identifiy, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment.
- Demonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics.
- Report deviations from standard to appropriate resources for review, instruction and authorization and obtain quality inspection when appropriate
- Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
- Demonstrate ethical and professional behaviour in accordance with company values
- Perform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience using torque driver, power supply, and Small hand tools.
- LabView program experience
- Demonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of workstations as documented by training records
- Apply considerable English language skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Apply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Able to read and follow instructions.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross-functional teamwork
