Summary
The Production Team Member is responsible for trimming and finishing rubber tiles. This member is responsible for weighing materials accurately, performing color checks, and quality inspections on all finished materials. Additionally, the Production Team Member is responsible for the correct count of daily materials produced and ensure they are stacked efficiently and safely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow company policies & procedures, including guidelines/instructions set by the Production Supervisor.
- Works with safety in mind, wears proper PPE and follows all OSHA & company safety guidelines
- Responsible for unloading, trimming, and palletizing of finished good product, this includes physical lifting.
- Able to read and follow a specification sheet to weight material accurately.
- Assists Production Team Member II by supplying and transporting materials from the weight station to machines.
- Consistent physical activity, including but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting or other physical requirements
- Must be able to distinguish different colors and ensure consistency of finished good product to control sample.
- Maintain adequate production rate for the assigned process efficient and accurate by working cohesively as a team for maximum production output.
- Responsible for using shears and utility knife in a safe and practical manor.
- Remain conscious of quality improvements/defects and report any concerns to Supervisor as they arise
- Ongoing general housekeeping of work area.
- Engage in clear, consistent and professional communication between Production Supervisor and other Production Team Members
- Other duties assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

- Ability to read and operate a weight scale
- Ability to read and understand unit measurements (lbs. ft., etc.)
- Basic writing, reading and math skills (addition, subtraction, etc.)
- Reliability and punctuality
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend, twist, squat, stand, walk, kneel, multiple times per day.
