The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seek a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor for the Division of Endocrinology. The position includes an academic appointment as an Instructor or Assistant Professor on the non-tenure track. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience. The individual will participate in existing clinical programs and is expected to contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participation in these clinical programs will occur at the Lurie Children's main hospital and/or outreach sites. Further, the candidate will endeavor to build upon the division's current research strengths and build an independent research program or contribute to other academic areas of interest such as education, quality improvement, or community health.

Qualified candidates will hold an M.D. or D.O., be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology, and eligible for licensure in Illinois.

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $161,200 - $186,000.

The displayed pay range represents base pay targets using designated benchmarks, which are reviewed annually. Individual salary will be determined by years in rank, experience, demand within the specialty, additional training, extramural funding, and strength of publication history. Other compensation opportunities vary but may include mission-based, clinical, research, and academic incentives or additional compensation for leadership roles in line with the respective compensation plan.
