Summary:

The Paralegal directly supports attorneys and Practice Group Leaders by gathering, reviewing, editing and organizing various legal documents and files as assigned in JHHS Legal Services.

* Maintaining attorney files and monitoring flow of documents through completion

* Gathering and compiling information for attorney work product

* Reviewing routine agreements and/or legal documents and making recommendations for needed changes/edits

* Database management and matter management

* Organizing and preparing for various meetings internally and externally with clients

* Participating independently or along with attorneys in client and vendor meetings and other interactions

* Providing administrative and office management support

* Leading assigned projects for practice group(s)

* Performing other duties as assigned

Education:

Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required. Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:

Paralegal Certificate is required if Associate's Degree is not obtained.

Work Experience:

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.

Salary Range: Minimum 25.73 per hour - Maximum 42.48 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
