Established in 1975, the AASM is the only professional society in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to the medical subspecialty of sleep medicine. We value the benefits of work/life balance through a hybrid work environment. Office presence (2 days/week) is required for this hybrid position due to the nature of the job responsibilities. To strengthen our collaborative and supportive culture, managers (with direct reports) work in the office on Wednesdays, our anchor day. Generally, twice a year for two consecutive days, all employees report to the office for special staff meetings/functions. As a result, only local candidates will be considered for this position. Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 commensurate with experience
Job Summary The AASM Accreditation Department oversees the process of accrediting sleep facilities, sleep practices and sleep-related durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers. They ensure that these facilities meet the standards set by the AASM for high quality diagnostic testing and patient management. Our team is growing! The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, customer service excellence, and a teamwork-oriented spirit to help facilitate the sleep facility accreditation application process through hands-on involvement from beginning to end and regular communication with accreditation applicants.
