The Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Justice Studies ( SCJ) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro ( UNCG) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2025. Areas of specialization are open within the fields of Criminology and Justice Studies, but the ability to teach data analysis is preferred. the successful candidate should hold or anticipate a Ph.D. in [Sociology, Criminology, or a related field] by August 1, 2025. The UNCG SCJ department (https://soc.uncg.edu/) offers bachelor's and master's degrees in Sociology with an optional concentration in Criminology and Justice Studies at both levels. Candidates must have an active research agenda and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate student teaching.
