Olink proteomics 4. Excellent communication Job Description We are now recruiting for a Scientist 1to join our Genomic Technologies Team in the Genomics Research Center. In this role you will utilize genomic techniques to support clinical and pre-clinical research company wide. You will be required to independently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. The successful candidate will join the NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) Operations team within Genomic Technologies, which runs validated high-throughput NGS methods. Key Responsibilities:** * Independently conduct experiments that further project goals. This includes RNA sequencing from initial QC to data generation and completing samples through the Olink workflow. * Interpret results to evaluate data quality. * Demonstrate technical proficiency in the assigned workflows. * Understand and adhere to safety regulations and lab practices. * Accurately document work performed and prepare reports when required. * Perform troubleshooting for routine work and alert manager to any inconsistencies or errors or needed consultation. Qualifications Technical Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in scientific field or equivalent education with 5 years of experience * Experience performing NGS library preparation is highly preferred. * Experience performing Olink processing is highly preferred. * Experience performing NGS on the Illumina sequencing platform. * Experience using liquid handlers is preferred (including Formulatrix, Beckman, SPTLabtech and Eppendorf). * Experience using LIMS is beneficial. * Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job function. * Excellent documentation and communication skills * Works well in a multidisciplinary team environment
