By partnering closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance, you'll help transform complex challenges into actionable, profitable solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Shape High-Value Deals
    Review and finalize critical deal components-including pricing, discounting, and contract terms-for complex, high-impact opportunities.

  • Streamline Standard Transactions
    Drive fast, accurate turnaround for smaller deals, ensuring documentation and approvals are always on point.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to uphold corporate guidelines and deliver deal outcomes that balance customer needs with company objectives.

  • Strategic Guidance
    Advise the Sales team on optimal deal structures, competitive pricing tactics, and discount thresholds to secure profitable agreements.

  • Governance & Compliance
    Safeguard adherence to company policies and financial approval processes, minimizing risk while capitalizing on opportunities.

  • System & Data Mastery
    Keep CRM and deal management systems accurate and updated, providing real-time insights for informed decision-making.

  • Continuous Improvement
    Identify bottlenecks and champion process enhancements that elevate efficiency and scalability across the Deal Desk function.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, equipping you with the analytical mindset and business acumen to excel in deal optimization.
  • Hands-On Experience: At least 2 years in sales operations, deal desk, or pricing roles, showcasing your ability to navigate complex agreements and streamline processes.
  • Software Sales Insight: A solid grasp of enterprise software sales cycles and pricing models, ensuring you can confidently advise on best practices and structure competitive deals.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven organizational skills and precision-especially crucial when juggling multiple deals in a high-volume environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort working in CRM platforms (Salesforce is a plus) and conducting basic financial analyses to drive data-backed decisions.
  • Collaborative Communication: Strong interpersonal abilities to partner effectively with Sales, Legal, and Finance, aligning all stakeholders on deal strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS Expertise: Familiarity with subscription-based or SaaS pricing models, giving you an edge in today's evolving software landscape.

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $55500.00 - $97000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
