Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing client in Bradford, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Evaluate business performance, identify trends, and forecast financial outcomes.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts to align with company objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate detailed financial performance reports, conduct variance analysis, and present insights to senior management.
  • Cost Accounting: Establish standard costs for new part numbers and support the annual cost accounting process, including variance analysis.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage daily AR tasks, including credit and collections, and maintain customer sales tax exemption certificates.
  • Month-End Close: Execute month-end closing entries, reconcile balance sheets, and perform variance analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with accounting, operations, purchasing, and sales teams to assess financial impacts and provide strategic insights.
  • Special Projects: Support additional projects as needed.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance is required
  • Minimum 3 years of Finance experience in Manufacturing
  • Minimum 3 years Cost Accounting and financial analysis experience
  • Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • CPA preferred
