The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance on the distribution and collection system, install taps, and perform maintenance on plant equipment. Essential Functions Statement(s) * Responsible for water line and sewer repairs, new line installation, taps, flushing valve maintenance, and plant equipment maintenance. * Maintains work truck and tools. * Inspects and maintains pumps, motors, valves and blowers in working order, troubleshooting problems as they arise. * Pulls motors and pumps for repair, to include wiring and fabrication of parts as necessary. * Replaces valves. * Repairs fire hydrants. * Assist plant operations as required. What You'll Bring Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience : This is an entry level position and does not require prior industry experience. Experience with heavy duty equipment(backhoe, excavator) preferred.
