Georgia-Pacific Consumer Manufacturing Group is seeking qualified professionals to consider for a Reliability Leader role supporting the Consumer Products Group Operations located in Zachary, LA. The Port Hudson facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue and paper towel products in a progressive production environment.

The Reliability Leader at Georgia-Pacific is typically responsible for driving and implementing reliability best practices and strategies across the plant to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance processes. This role is vital for ensuring that production facilities operate efficiently and effectively.

What You Will Do
* Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture
* Develop and implement comprehensive reliability strategies to enhance equipment performance and availability
* Identify, analyze, and eliminate losses and inefficiencies through the application of reliability tools and methodologies
* Lead the development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
* Utilize condition monitoring and other advanced diagnostic technologies to predict and prevent equipment failures
* Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) for chronic and acute failures
* Develop action plans to address root causes and prevent recurrence
* Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure effective maintenance planning and scheduling
* Optimize maintenance work processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
* Lead and mentor a team of reliability engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities in reliability practices
* Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure reliability and maintenance success
* Lead and support reliability-related projects, including equipment upgrades and process improvements
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Extensive experience in reliability engineering or maintenance management
* Prior experience working within a paper/pulp manufacturing, industrial or military environment
* Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies
* Experience with reliability engineering tools, maintenance management software and techniques
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

What Will Put You Ahead

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Proven experience leading teams and driving cultural change towards proactive reliability
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
* Deep understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment
* Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
