Position Description

LISC is seeking an organized individual to serve as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Local and National Programs. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for ensuring efficient and organized execution of department activities by providing a range of administrative functions to support the EVP and senior leaders within local and national programs. The candidate must be proactive, well organized, possess outstanding administrative and computer skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities



  • Assist with lodging, transportation, and timing logistics involved with travel on behalf of the EVP for Local and National Programs.
  • Create and submit expense reports on behalf of the EVP for Local and National Programs, as well as other senior leaders within the department, as assigned.
  • Process invoices and expense reporting associated with department expenditures, track payment status.
  • Assist, as needed, with the planning and coordination of department events.
  • Create and maintain online folder structures to help remain efficient in storing and accessing documents and information.
  • Make copies, file documents, manage deliveries, arrange for mailings and overnight deliveries.
  • Order office supplies, manage inventory, and maintain adequate supplies.
  • Schedule virtual meetings via Teams or other similar technology.
  • Work with LISC IT to maintain/troubleshoot software and applications.
  • Execute such additional duties, special projects, and ongoing responsibilities as assigned by the EVP of Local and National Programs or designee.



Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required




  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive executive administrative work experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks without compromising quality.
  • Ability to work professionally and productively with staff and stakeholders.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Sound problem-solving skills, with a willingness to be flexible and proactive in a fast-paced, high volume, fluid working environment; strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity working with virtual teams via various methods i.e., MS Teams
  • Customer service orientation and solution oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and familiar with Adobe Acrobat, cloud-based file storage systems (such as Box), data entry into Salesforce and other common business software programs (such as expense reporting).



Compensation

LISC offers a competitive salary($52,900-$66,200) and excellent fringe benefits.

*Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
