MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.

* Provide on-going technical support for manufacturing operations after project installation.

* Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.

* Contract specialty vendors, actively partnering with vendors to implement design specifications, install and or refurbish manufacturing and packaging technologies.

* Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement (CI) projects.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, CI, Lean implementation) across the manufacturing function

* Optimize equipment and process functionality

* Drives cGMP compliant equipment design, will alter existing design using AutoCAD

* Implement control systems, PLC programming of highly automated manufacturing technologies

REQUIREMENTS

* B.S. Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred). Equivalent related work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

* Three - Five years of applicable engineering experience including integrating high speed automated equipment.

* Experience in the design, maintenance, installation, validation, and repair of pharmaceutical industry high-speedaseptic filling (manufacturing)technologies.

* Strong project management skills, interpersonal, and communication (technical writing and presentation) skills.
