Position Summary:

Key business partner for the Operations business responsible for the oversight of Cost of Goods Sold-related Operations spend. Perform analyses to enable the business to make informed business decisions and identify and drive efficiencies.

Forecast labor and overhead absorption vs. actual labor and overhead for manufacturing, based upon production history and forecast. Includes new and refurb EGM's, new and refurb Tables and Utilities and Systems.

  • Forecasting for cost/inventory, standard cost-related items
  • Analyze refurbished game costs to determine financial return on investment
  • Obsolescence/Scrap/Physical + Cycle Count Variance
  • Partner with Sourcing to provide Purchase Price Variance (PPV) forecasts and analyze actuals
  • Write down/up of inventory based on standard cost changes
  • Work in process/manufacturing variances
  • Expedited Freight
  • Cross-functional business partner on rework chargesfor Raw Materials, WIP, etc.Support the business in identifying risk and opportunities.
  • Vetting of Procurement's cost per platform forecast versus production actuals. Explaining cost variances. Adjust cost per platform forecast when average BOM varies to actual production or when favorable vendor pricing is not achieved.
  • Oracle improvement IT/Cost Accounting projects Production Review.
  • Ensure management oversight of production review and reporting that ensures costs per platform are accurate
  • Labor + Overhead burden is calculating properly per serial relative to standard build times
  • Direct materials cost is within expectation of forecasted costs per unit based upon expected standard cost changes
  • Annual Standard Cost Changes on Raw Materials
  • Ensure alignment with Procurement's expected cost per unit
  • Lead project to change standard cost changes from monthly back to quarterly to minimize the effort involved with monthly standard cost changes

Raw Materials Obsolescence Review:

  • Monthly review with Inventory Planning
  • Quarterly review with Shared Services Accounting - Global Close & Controls team
  • Obsolescence Reviews for Used Inventory
Qualifications

Education

Bachelor degree in related field.

Years of Related Experience

5 to 8 years of relevant experience required
Experience in Supply Chain finance experience is preferred

Preferred Traits, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners including manufacturing, demand/supply planning, sourcing, commercial finance, purchasing, etc.
  • Experience presenting to Executive Stakeholders
  • Knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g. Hyperion)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as the ability to manage large data sets.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic view while operating at a level of fine detail; correlate portfolio priorities and strategy to daily operations and decision making within the supply chain environment.
  • Operate with a high degree of connectedness, transparency, and clarity to ensure common understanding of requirements, issues, and actions; listen to stakeholders and distill information into pertinent and actionable content.
  • Ability to adapt to the pace and dynamic nature of the business; process data, information and feedback with speed and communicate outcomes, alternatives and actions plans with appropriate urgency.
  • Must have a strong analytical background.
