Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital This 530-bed, Magnet-designated facility offers a comprehensive array of services to the rapidly growing communities of the northern Detroit suburbs. This state-of-the-art center provides advanced specialty and routine care with an emphasis on patient satisfaction and a focus on medical advancement. Job Summary: Under supervision of a Registered Nurse and following hospital policies and procedures, performs various nursing care tasks and treatments on assigned patients. Unit Summary: The Family Birth Center serves our growing families with a 7 bed triage and 2 bed antenatal testing area, 15 bed labor/delivery/recovery rooms offering a combination of showers or Jacuzzi tubs, 1 natural birthing suite with Jacuzzi tub, 10 bed antepartum unit, 3 operating rooms, and a 3 bed recovery room. We care for low and high risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a family centered environment. Our nurses are certified in External Fetal Monitoring and are also trained in Neonatal Resuscitation. Our goal is to assist the childbearing family with the support and skills they need on their journey through labor, childbirth, and early parenting. Standard Qualifications:
