Staff Validation Engineer, Wireless Radio Lead

Description The Staff Validation Engineer, Wireless Radio Lead is responsible for leading the development board level validation hardware and software used for silicon validation of Bluetooth classic and Bluetooth low energy IP blocks as well as other wireless radio blocks and related analog subsystems. This includes the development of automated test for controlling custom radio hardware and lab instruments, physical (PHY) interface characterization, radio power profiling, control and monitoring of radio functions, data collection, and report generation. The candidate will also develop and test low power radio embedded microcontroller software for communication to host devices and compliance test equipment.
The candidate for this role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Minimum 7 years of experience developing Bluetooth (or other wireless radio technologies) microcontroller application and test software
Minimum 5 years experience developing embedded and/or DSP applications in C
