Job Description Summary

Human Resources (HR) Intern is an entry-level position designed to help individuals gain practical experience in HR functions and learn how organizations manage their workforce.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Gain an understanding of the vision, mission and strategic objectives of our People Operations function and the business units that we support.
  • Assist with special projects related to employee engagement, onboarding, and HR metrics.
  • Work with the HR team to research best practices, develop possible new approaches, and create tools and templates.
  • Perform audit of HR les and records.
  • Assist in creating materials and/or presentations for meetings.
  • Share creative ideas that help improve our eficiency.
  • Maintaining human resources les, records, and documentation in SharePoint.
  • Handle day-to-day HR inquiries via HR mailbox
  • Organize and maintain HR SharePoint site
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities
  • Assist with special HR projects and initiatives

Qualications:

  • Working toward a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related eld.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and self-starter.
  • Be exible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Highly procient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience using HR Technology is preferred.
  • Prior experience working as a HR intern is preferred.

  • The base pay for this role is $18 to $23 for undergraduate students and $23-$28 for graduate students, depending on level of skills and experience.
  • The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position.
