Compensation Grade: P13Compensation Details: Minimum: $48,515.00 - Maximum: $48,515.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OPH) CEH - Bureau of Environmental & Occupational EpidemiologyJob Description: Responsibilities The Administrative Aide will work within the Office of the Director, Bureau of Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology to perform and assist with a wide range of administrative activities for several large grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts with federal sponsors (e.g. CDC/ATSDR, EPA, NIH, NASA) and state partners (e.g. SUNY Research Foundation, NYSACHO). The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative support for daily operations, including assisting with grant administration activities, correspondence with study subjects, procurement, and travel activities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field, OR an Associate's degree in a related field and one year of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience, OR three years of such experience. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience with grants administration. Knowledge and experience with procurement. Experience performing administrative duties in an office setting. Demonstrated organizational skills pertaining to file and email management. Strong written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Pro. Experience in SharePoint, WebEx, and Teams. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
