Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Temporary Positions for Summer 2025 Youth Academy.
Temporary Position from May 5, 2025 through August 15, 2024.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. Hours range between 6:45am and 6:15pm.

Assist in the smooth operation of on and off campus programs under the direction of the youth coordinators.

  • Coordinate daily check-in and check-out of students.
  • Assist classroom instructors with their supplies when necessary and with special projects upon request.
  • Assist in the cleanup of supplies after class and store them properly.
  • Supervise students between classes and during lunch.
  • Accept special assignments from the youth staff as directed by the Youth Administrative Assistant.
  • Such assignments will include distribution and collection of attendance sheets, calls to absent students and alphabetizing of emergency forms.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • High School graduate required.
    • Experience
      • Previous proven experience working with youth in or any type of camp environment required.
      • 1-2 years experience in park district or other summer programming preferred.
    • Licenses and Certifications
      • COD Training
        • Compliance Training


      Working Conditions:

    • Telephone and copy machines.
    • Background security checks; fast paced; varies daily due to programming changes.
    • This position requires a Background check at the expense of the College.


    • Hybrid Remote Eligible: No

      Part-Time Work Schedule: Monday to Friday between 7 am to 6 pm

      Hiring Range:
      Classified 3 Hourly - $15.50 per hour/15.50 - 15.50
