Behavioral Health Safety Coach

Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Night Shift, Monday - Friday with every other weekend included.

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Job Responsibilities:

* Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern.
* Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee. Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting.
* Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.
* Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Additional Requirements:

• Work Schedule: Night Shift: Monday-Friday, Every Other Weekend
  
  
  
  • Candidate will be orienting at Mt. Vernon hospital
  
  
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start. Crisis Prevention Institute Certification within 3 months
• Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
