Northwestern Pritzker School of Law invites applications for a full-time, benefits eligible, faculty position to serve as the Associate Dean of Non-JD and International Innovation. Candidates will be considered for a renewable, long-term appointment at the rank of lecturer (non-tenure-eligible) and will also hold an administrative faculty appointment as Associate Dean.

The Associate Dean of Non-JD and International Innovation will oversee the Executive LLM program and develop new non-JD and international programs. The Associate Dean will report directly to the Dean and serve as a member of the Law School's Senior Leadership Teams. Key duties will be strategic development of the Law School's non-JD and international programs and initiatives, overseeing and expanding the Executive LLM program, nurturing existing and building new international partnerships, overseeing the international visitor process, and hiring and supervision of program staff. The Associate Dean will work closely with the Dean and other senior leaders as a key member of the Law School's leadership team. The position may also have the opportunity to teach courses of strategic value to the Law School and its non-JD and international programs.

Candidates must hold a J.D. degree, or an equivalent advanced law degree, from a U.S. or foreign law school, or a relevant masters degree, and have leadership experience related to developing and supervising non-JD and international programs. Northwestern Pritzker Law seeks applicants with a record of substantial administrative and management experience, proven leadership and communication skills, a commitment to the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and an innovative vision for the future of non-JD and international programming, partnerships, and education. Preferred qualifications include experience overseeing non-JD and international programs in a Law School or University setting, working with non-JD and international students, and research and/or practice experience related to international legal issues. The expected base pay range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000. This base pay range is for a twelve-month academic appointment and is subject to negotiation.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
