Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Not Graded Department/Organization: 601101 - Football Normal Work Schedule: Varies Job Summary: The Athletic Intern assists in the daily operations of the Athletic Department. Provides practice coverage for assigned sport. Serve as the onsite liaison for student athletes. Additional Department Summary: Supports all recruiting activities for a Division I Football program. Supports compliance with NCAA regulations and effective and efficient operations to enhance the success of the overall recruiting process, camps, and clinics. Supports off-the-field recruiting activities that are permissible per NCAA or SEC regulations including planning for recruiting visits, providing tours, providing logistical support on event days, hosting on game days, administrative tasks, etc. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any field, OR individuals currently enrolled in college completing their undergraduate studies. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be willing and able to work all home football games, A-Day game, and all weekends during December, January, March, and April. Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Proficiency in the usage of personal computers and standard application software (Microsoft Word and Excel). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to function independently solving problems and making decisions. Ability to prioritize and schedule work for efficient operations. Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of work experience with a football recruiting department. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student-oriented experience will be considered. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.
