HR Coordinator

Job Location: Bluffton, IN

Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the administration of the human resources function as an integral member of the HR Team. The HR Coordinator has key responsibilities across all aspects of HR administration and must have an HR Generalist background.

In addition, the HR Coordinator:

• Manage completion from start to finish with new hire paperwork and enrollments
• Primary responsibility for contractors, visitors, employees, vendors, etc. at the front window and training visitors on GMPs as well as other reception duties
• Maintain HRIS system and hiring and termination checklist duties
• Train and Assist as needed with benefits administration
• Assist department with FMLA/STD/LTD/COBRA administration
• First stop for employee questions, services, support, and advice
• Maintain Turnover and Discipline tracker reports
• Assist as needed with managing the crewing of hourly personnel
• Involvement in billing and reporting for insurance billings and reporting
• Coordinate company wellness and employee events such as yearly picnics, flu shots, hearing testing, blood drives, and wellness programs
• Manage the employee uniform program
• Train and serve as backup to payroll administration and attendance reporting
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and orientation of all hourly employees
• Assist in problem resolution and complaints
• Familiarity with processing unemployment claims
• Experience with HR projects
• Employee filing maintenance
• Miscellaneous clerical and admin duties
• Assist the HR Director and Manager as needed

Skills and Experience:

• Proven knowledge and experience with tax forms, I-9s, background checks, drug testing
• administration
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in union facility concerning employee relations and contract administration
• Experience in all Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Minimum Requirements and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must have a minimum 3-5 years of previous HR experience
