Incentive and Invoicing Analyst

As an Incentive and Invoicing Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the incentive accounting and invoicing activities for Pittsburgh Paint Co's Architectural business. This includes planning, organizing, reporting, and process improvement, while ensuring adherence to controls. Your role will focus on ensuring accurate and timely transactions, as well as efficient and effective processes related to incentive and marketing accounting.

You will report to theTrial Balance Manager and work hybrid based in the Cranberry, PA office.

Responsibilities
* Drive improvement in the account reconciliation process by developing consistency and more efficient tools for preparing the supporting documentation.
* Responsible for ensuring sales transactions are properly recording on the sales ledger (eg Invoices, Credit Memos, journal entries).
* Responsible for the oversight of the accounting and analysis for sales - rebates, prebates, and all other contractual incentives that should be accounted for (buy backs, lifts, equipment to customers, etc.).
* Responsible for the oversight of the accounting and analysis for marketing - sales curve, color collateral, color centers, prepaid advertising, and ad stock.
* Responsible for reviewing new and existing contracts for revenue recognition treatment.
* Responsible for actively participating in balance sheet reviews.
* Responsible for the proper recording of all entries related to incentives and invoicing.
* Responsible for month end closing activities related to incentives and invoicing and preparation of internal management reporting.
* Responsible for adherence to all other job-specific financial policies and procedures to ensure a strong business control environment, where internal financial and operating controls comply with Corporate and business policy.
* Promote efficient and effective and standardized processes in all incentive and invoicing areas.
* Be a liaison for all Internal and External audits

* Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent education with 3+ years accounting experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is highly sought after.
* Experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle, QAD or SAP is desirable.
