Licensed Practical Nurse
needed for a contract
opportunity with Yoh's student health client located in New Brunswick, NJ. This clinic provides full spectrum care.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Duration:
3 months with possibility of extension or direct placement
Pay:$28-33/hr DOE

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintains examining room in proper order by assuring it is clean, neat and well equipped, clean medical/ surgical instruments and maintains supplies at par level.
• Maintains laboratory to state standards, performs controls on equipment/s and document temperature (am/pm) for refrigerator(s) and freezer(s).
• Assists physician in examination/s of patient if necessary and performs venipuncture, EKG's and taking of vital signs (triage), administers immunizations and injections.
• Ensures proper flow of patients into the exam room by checking in with front desk staff (Administrative Assistant) and surveying waiting room area.
• Notifies Office Manager of problems, delays, and/or irregularities in the schedule.
• Performs administrative tasks as needed, schedules appointments for patients. Answers phones and inquiries made by patients and/or other callers.
• Performs patient health teaching and counseling either face to face or on the telephone.
• Documents appropriately in patient's medical record.
• Completes forms requiring pertinent medical data (school forms and immunization records).
• Maintain medical records according to established policy and procedures, when needed.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Manages medical inventory and supply.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• LPN licenses/certifications required to practice
• BLS upon hire
• Phlebotomy skills
• Experience in OH, ER, urgent care or related
