The Position
2025 Summer Intern - Translational Oncology, Maddalo Lab Department Summary The mission of the Translational Oncology department is to discover new targets and identify and characterize first- and best-in-class clinical candidates. We help guide clinical development of these drugs through a deep understanding of their unique mechanisms of action, define patient populations that are most likely to respond and biomarkers predictive of this response. The Maddalo lab focuses on the investigation of mechanisms underlying therapy resistance and identification of drug combinations to prevent and/or delay adaptive and intrinsic resistance by leveraging CRISPR-mediated gene editing techniques and animal models of cancer. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on site. The Opportunity

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $45.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
