Description

Compensation: $75.000-$85,000 annually

Regular, Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Manhattan, KS (onsite) - This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work environments

Partnering closely with frontline fundraisers, you lead personalized stewardship efforts that inspire continued engagement, reinforce donor relationships, and fuel long-term fundraising success for major gift donors. This role is an opportunity to shape meaningful donor experiences that strengthen our mission and community.

What you'll do:

  • Lead individual major gift stewardship efforts, collaborating with fundraisers to design and execute personalized engagement strategies through the life-cycle of a major gift.
  • Create, plan, and deliver tailored stewardship services, ensuring major and principal donors receive timely, impactful recognition.
  • Manage a specialized portfolio, partnering with fundraisers to fulfill donor-specific requests and foster ongoing engagement/stewardship.
  • Proactively identify stewardship opportunities by monitoring newly closed gifts and planning thoughtful follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and track stewardship activities, providing leadership with key insights and reports.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in stewardship, fundraising, or a related nonprofit field, with a track record of successful donor cultivation and stewardship strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data management systems
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, pre-established goals, and balance multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage all stakeholders and achieve shared objectives
