Technical Event Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled & experienced individual to provide end-to-end ownership, consultancy, strategic oversight, and operational support for complex meetings and events at the South San Francisco site. As a Technical Event Specialist in the Digital Media & Events space, you will be the primary point of contact for key stakeholders & executives across the business, guiding them on technical requirements for various types of events & ensuring a smooth execution of their vision. Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals, technical requirements, and logistics.

• Schedule, coordinate and lead technical crew and ensure tools & technologies are operational and event ready.

• Oversee technical aspects of live, hybrid and webcast events, including crew management, show-calling, troubleshooting, operating, and stage management.

• Serve as the single point of contact for customers onsite, ensuring the technical components of the event run smoothly.

• Optimize budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality

Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years experience in an audio/video, live broadcast production/webcasting & video conferencing environment

• You have experience managing events with over 1,000 attendees including C-level executives

• You have experience managing technical teams (10+ people) for event productions

• You have familiarity with reading CAD and technical drawings along with a strong understanding of audio and video signal flow

• You thrive under pressure and are skilled at providing on-demand AV support in a complex, fast-paced, user-facing environment. You have experience with show-calling and operating professional grade, state-of-the-art live event production hardware and software.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco is $90,200- $167,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
