The Director, ERP plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient functioning of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing the ERP software to support various business processes and ensure seamless operations. Working with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and the business, they ensure the applications support operational efficiency and strategic goals. Plays a key leadership role in the ERP optimization initiative.

Key Accountabilities

Team Management

  • Team Selection and Onboarding: Recruit best fit talent; Develop and monitor onboarding plan.
  • Team Building: Encourage activities and dialogue to motivate team members to increase the overall performance of the team.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Develop team members so they can perform and deliver the best possible results.
  • Work Assignments: Lead team by providing a clear articulation of direction and expectations for work to be completed; Control the level of work in progress to optimize flow for each direct report, adjusting as needed.
  • Performance Management: Measure performance against role responsibilities and stated goals following company's performance management process.

Product Ownership

  • Provide leadership from a technical perspective for the ERP optimization initiative.
  • Develop a strategic technology roadmap working closely with the business.
  • Create and prioritize product backlog that aligns with business strategy, continuously refining it based on feedback and changing business needs.
  • Gather feedback from internal customers, using data driven insights to make informed decision to prioritize future improvements.
  • Lead business case creation for initiatives within product area.
  • Manage vendors performing work within the product area.
  • Manage vendor contracts and related budgets.

System Management

  • Administer and maintain the organization's ERP system, ensuring it operates efficiently and securely.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues or errors that may arise.
  • Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the ERP system with other software and applications.

User Training and Support

  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization.
  • Address and resolve user issues related to the ERP systems promptly.
  • Lead Super User program for product area.
  • Compliance
  • Ensure ERP system compliance with relevant regulations.

Other

  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Demonstrate Inotiv Core Values and adhere to Code of Conduct.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years' experience in the application delivery and management arena and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree

Strong leadership skills

Knowledge of and implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)

Proficient with advanced agile framework skills

Working knowledge of business-related processes/procedures terminology and compliance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, often under tight time constraints.

Effectively work with peers, leadership, and stakeholders in a productive collaborative environment.

Ability to understand and comply with confidentiality and privacy rules and protect company property and confidential information.

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range for this role is $120,200- $160,000 and can adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
