Yard Facilitator/Driver, Packaging

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Yard Facilitator/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, loading and unloading parts and units, and ensuring the efficient tracking of all equipment within the yard. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and organized environment for both employees and customers. Additionally, you will assist with deliveries, pickups, and winter snow removal as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.

Inspect and identify damage on deliveries
• Load and unload parts/units.
• Track all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the yard, making sure it's a safe environment at all times for employees and customers.
• Assist with deliveries/pickups when needed (Flatbed and Semi)
• Assist with winter snow removal.
• Other duties as assigned

• Three or more years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge a must.
• Computer literate. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop.
• Must be a self-starter with good time management.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills required.
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
• Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and provide your own tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
• CDL license required. Class A preferred.

Payrate: $27.65 per hour

This position works in the equipment yard and shop environment. This position will spend a good portion of time being outdoors, exposed to elements of weather, dust and dirt. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Will need to or use a keyboard to communicate through email.
