Molex is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to design, model, analyze, and test high-speed connectors and test fixtures, to act as a focal point in providing technical leadership, and to work with customers to develop application specific solutions and provide technical support.

The Signal Integrity Engineer will provide design support for existing, new, and advanced interconnect technology solutions. This person may also interface directly with customers on Signal Integrity issues to gather requirements and provide technical support. To meet the fast speed demands of the industry, this person will understand the market to drive cutting edge technology to our customers.

Our engineering teams are designing cutting edge solutions for high-speed, high-density products that maximize speed, signal integrity and efficiency.

What You Will Do
* Design new product and interconnect solutions.
* Perform high-speed empirical, analytical, and signal integrity evaluations of connectors within transmission line environments.
* Lead the design, build, and qualification of electrical test fixtures (PCBs) for the characterization of electrical connectors.
* Lead the design, build, and qualification of PCBs used in connector designs.
* Develop test specifications for connectors.
* Recommend changes in designs or technical procedures.
* Conduct and coordinate analytical simulations for connector systems.
* Provide development input to design teams, create electrical product models, and documentation.
* Analyze variation dependence and parametric optimization.
* Work in a laboratory environment to validate design and correlate measurement with simulations using VNA, TDR, and Oscilloscope.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Math
* Ability to learn engineering software, e.g. Ansys HFSS & Designer, CST, Agilent ADS & PLTS, Matlab
* Experience with lab equipment, e.g. VNA, TDR, oscilloscope
* Knowledge of PCB design
* Ability to work on several projects at once while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

What Will Put You Ahead
* Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Math
* 3D electromagnetic software experience, e.g. Ansys HFSS, CST
* PCB design software experience, e.g. Cadence Allegro, Altium

For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
