Job Summary Responsible for leading group of engineers on a technical activity and completion of activity on time and budget. Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems. May use computer-aided engineering or other design / analysis software in the performance of assignments. Job Responsibilities Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts is desired. SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler experience in developing new products is preferred. Understand/Implement MBSE principles for system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities beginning with the conceptual design, continuing throughout the development and life-cycle of the project. Participate in Integrated Product Teams. Lead a group of engineers on a technical activity and completion of activity on time and budget Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems. Perform SysML modeling process in Cameo Systems Modeler for developing new products. Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable Allocate System Level Requirements and derive Subsystem/Component Requirements Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services Drive the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements Develop prototypes to retire key development risks Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required Participate in preparation of proposals Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel Lead and direct the work of others as assigned Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings Lead less-experienced engineers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience Fluency in technologies and application domain Ability to lead a technical group independently #NEL #LI-AS1 U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment. The expected pay scale for this position is $104,274/year - $161,884/year.Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
