Staffmark invites you to seize an exciting career opportunity as a Customer Freight Service Coordinator with a leading global logistics company in Torrance, CA. If you're passionate about logistics and enjoy managing complex transportation tasks, this dynamic role is the perfect fit for you.

Pay: $20 per hour

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday

Responsibilities:



  • Research shipments in the company system
  • Coordinate with office and warehouse teams to consolidate shipments
  • Collaborate with CFS leadership on trailer recovery and inventory accuracy
  • Drive process improvements and support the 3rd party CFS partner
  • Track freight movement and lifecycle using workflow tools and dashboards
  • Work with the Import Gateway team to manage freight recovery and equipment returns
  • Verify truck drivers' IDs per TSA regulations and print necessary paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with TSA and US Customs regulations
  • Perform data entry in Excel, manage daily filing, and handle related tasks
  • Communicate with the branch to prevent cargo from sitting in the CFS for over 15 days




Qualifications:



  • 1+ year of logistics admin experience
  • Experience in logistics or freight coordination (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of TSA and US Customs regulations (a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
