Job Title: HVAC Technician
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems and controls. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls and equipment using proper testing equipment - Work from drawings and manuals to diagnose and resolve issues - Install new or used equipment using appropriate construction tools - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components on chillers, rooftops, fan units, and other HVAC equipment - Repair and rebuild pumps and compressors - Maintain and service building automation systems (BAS) - Maintain a proper preventative maintenance program for all HVAC equipment. Requirements: - High School diploma or GED - Minimum 4 years of HVAC experience OR completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program - Valid stationary engineer license - EPA Universal certification - Proficiency in pneumatic controls, instruments, automatic dampers, air flows, and air balancing for large institutions - Knowledge of water and steam systems - Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and ability to diagnose BAS issues - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals - Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions If you meet these qualifications and are looking for a challenging opportunity in HVAC maintenance and repair, we encourage you to apply.
