Job Description * Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at www.cu.edu/cu-careers * The Director of Emergency & Security Services is responsible for the oversight and implementation of all five phases (prevention, preparedness, mitigation, response & recovery) of emergency management, access control, and security coordination for the CU Denver campus. The range of tasks covers vendor management with our Allied Security team, training and coordination for campus awareness, guidance and consultation for campus and community event coordination, commencement safety activities, Continuity of Operations planning, preparation of institutional plans and reports, RAVE campus alerts and other communications such as website updates, fire and life safety audits, facilitation of the Emergency Operations Committee, and oversight of the access control systems for the CU Denver facilities. The incumbent is the primary emergency and security expert for the CU Denver campus. Director of Emergency & Security Services What you will do:

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
