Contract Program Security Officer and Security Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a security subject matter expert for Special Access Programs (SAPs). Work closely with the PSO and GSSO to Provide security, intelligence, counterintelligence, and programmatic oversight to SAPs and other sensitive activities throughout their life cycle. Develop SOPs and guidance pertaining to management and execution of SAPs and sensitive activities which involve multiple commands and activities. Design and implement security plans and security training for supporting personnel. Develop, review, and approve test and demonstration security and Operations Security (OPSEC) plans for SAPs. Travel to vendor sites or government test sites to support SAP-level testing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with program security
  • Experience with OPSEC and security disciplines, including information, physical, industrial, foreign disclosure, operations, and personnel
  • Experience in DISS database and providing security and programmatic guidance to SAPs
  • Experience implementing SOPs and guidance pertaining to management and execution of SAPs and sensitive activities which involve multiple commands and activities
  • Knowledge of DoD security policies and procedures, and SAP regulations and policies
  • Knowledge of the JADE personal database and DoDM 5200.01 Volume I-IV, DoDM 5205.07 I-III, and AR380-381
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint environments
  • Ability to implement security plans and security training for supporting personnel
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Army R&D programs
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
