Naval Training Manager

The Opportunity:

As the Naval Training Manager, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced Naval Training Manager who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication supporting the DON.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of 5 modernized and multiple legacy maintenance and supply systems. You'll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Suite and Power BI, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experiencein curriculum development
• Experience with U.S. Navy programs and policies
• Ability to work in a team or in an independent setting to deliver client work
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a Training Systems field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with OPNAVINST 1500.75, and acquisition-related processes and deliverables such as Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and Jira
• Experience with coursework development in the Navy's Content Management Systems (CMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Knowledge of optimizing information flow and recommending knowledge management solutions
• Knowledge of the principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effectiveness
• Knowledge of selecting and using training and instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information and ideas, verbally and in writing, to support informal and formal forums so others from diverse backgrounds and experience levels will understand
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple programs concurrently
• Ability to observe, receive, analyze, and obtain information and data from all relevant sources
• Qualified Naval Instructor or Master Training Specialist (MTS) Certification

Clearance:
