We are seeking a Junior DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application Engineer to join our team supporting the Xacta Application Suite, deployed in both on-premises and cloud environments. Based in the Pacific Time Zone, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of automated systems, ranging from small to large-scale deployments. As a key contributor, you'll apply your knowledge of Linux (RHEL and AWS Linux), Docker containers, Git, and CI/CD processes to deliver secure, functional solutions in collaboration with team leads and clients. This position also provides exposure to all tiers of the Xacta development and operations teams, making it an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic learner eager to grow their skills in DevOps and infrastructure engineering.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle challenges while performing software deployments, providing Tier 2-3 troubleshooting, and offering operational support to internal teams. You'll also develop automation scripts, document investigations and resolutions, and research new technologies as assigned. We're looking for someone with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in Linux, Docker, and scripting. While this is a junior role, additional experience with GitOps, Ansible, AWS, Kubernetes, or VMware would be highly valued.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform deployments of the Xacta software suite
  • Provide Tier 2 - 3 - Troubleshooting support for Customers deploying the Xacta software suite
  • Document all fixes and investigations
  • Provide Operations Support for Internal Xacta teams
  • Develop Automation scripts
  • Research on various technologies/configurations as assigned by Manager/supervisor

Job Requirements

Required Skills:



  • Associate Degree 1-2 yrs experience - in related field or higher
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required
  • A professional attitude, attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required
  • Linux - Installation, Configuration and Administration
  • Docker Containers - Deployment, Configuration, Development and Administration of
