Under general supervision from the Executive Director, assist with the administration of the UC Real Estate Center. This includes planning, budgeting and execution of programs for the Real Estate Center. Supervision responsibilities for the role include those of the Real Estate Center student worker. This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days' work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus tohave ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies. Essential Functions
* Plan, budget, design and coordinate monthly Roundtable Events from September through May and the Real Estate Center Annual Dinner in June, including coordination with event venues, food & beverage providers, speakers and travel arrangements. * Schedule meetings of the BEARE Board, the BEARE Executive Board and the REEAC Board on an as needed basis and assist in the production of agendas. Participate in meetings for purposes of official record keeping and tracking follow up items. * Assist with preparation of annual unit operating budget recommendations with limitedsignature authority for purchases and payroll. * Prepare reports, disseminate/interpret information, construct contractual agreements and ensure that all programs and services comply with university, state and federal regulations. * Work with the UCREA (UC Real Estate Association, our student led group) in coordinatingtheir student led events. * Responsibility for handling financial transactions and expense reports, monthly tracking of expenses and year-end financial results. * Interactions with existing members and partners of the Center and well as administration of membership and sponsorship gifts. * Interaction with various groups within LCB, including Business Affairs, Foundation and MarCom. * Detailed coordination with Cincinnati ULI, CREW, NAIOP and PNC Bank on joint events, including the PNC Economic Outlook. * Build Real Estate Center photo repository so all events are documented, and photographs are organized and easily accessible for future marketing pieces. * Responsibility for purchases and procurement for the Center * Responsibility for marketing and social media efforts of the Center. * Provide supervision of department student workers. This includes hire, orient, train, mentor and evaluate assigned workers; monitor and coordinate onboarding training programs necessary for the function of the student worker position * Perform related duties based on departmental need.
