What You Will Do

The Owner and Public Sector (O&PS) division is a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Trimble, offering an innovative portfolio of software, SaaS solutions, and professional services. With a focus on delivering cutting-edge technology tools for project and asset management lifecycle solutions, our division bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds, bringing the concept of the "digital twin" to life. By uniting and scaling several strategic acquisitions in recent years, O&PS is creating a game-changing presence in the industry. With a strong focus on North America, our team is driving innovation and growth every step of the way.

Expense Forecasting & Reporting

  • Create and implement a consolidated operating expense forecast model.

  • Report expenses by Local Government, Private, State/Federal, and International segments.

  • Provide monthly reporting on forecast vs. actuals, overspend, and underspend for functional leaders (e.g., COGS, R&D).

  • Prepare cost reports for monthly and quarterly reviews, including QBRs.

Spending Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with Trimble's Spending Authorization and Travel & Entertainment policies.

  • Monitor discretionary spending and identify cost-saving opportunities across teams (e.g., facilities, software, events).

Collaboration

  • Partner with North America teams, including Business Leaders, People Experience Partners, Sales Operations, Data Specialists, and Accounting.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a numerical field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Fluent in data analysis and reporting: able to collate data from various systems, spot discrepancies/gaps, hunt down resolutions, and clean, combine, and summarize data for management consumption

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles is a strong plus

  • Solid verbal communication skills, able to work productively with a variety of people and cultures, and able to explain complex issues in a clear summary

  • Experience with international operations is a plus
