Job Summary: The Project Manager/Strategist I will lead projects that entail understanding a client's business, gathering market insights through interviews and other types of research, facilitating discussions with clients on those insights, developing strategies, and managing the client relationship, project teams, and project scope, budget, and timeline to deliver exceptional recommendations. You are the primary point of contact for our clients and project teams. You will work within our project management systems and tools that guide you and your team in a proprietary process for discovering new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for writing strategic recommendations for clients. We will look to you to help improve processes and lead teams in excellent use of tools and accountability for great outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to travel (up to 30% and for long periods) to attend onsite meetings to client locations and tour client facilities following their safety and other guidelines
- Ability to speak in front of a group, facilitate workshops, and work face-to-face with senior leaders
- Understand and develop a plan to deliver on the proposed scope of the work
- Onboard clients and manage client interactions and inputs
- Develop project plans and manage the scope, timeline, and quality of outputs
- Collaborate with teams creatively to gain the right insights
- Lead new team members in skill development, training them in the use of the tools.
- Oversee the budget, invoicing, and deliverable schedule
- Facilitate workshops at our Opportunity Accelerator Center or at client locations to gain new insights from clients and external partners
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leaders
- Learn, implement, and continuously improve our proprietary processes
The position requires up to 30% travel, both domestic and international, and long periods away from home traveling with project teams to client locations Required Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business, strategy, and project or client management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of building relationships with clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written communication and ability to write compelling strategies
- Must have a valid passport, or the ability to get one within a specified time from the date of hire (at your own expense)
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive motorized passenger vehicles in urban areas
- The position is an in-office position, 5 days per week or other approved work hours
- No felony convictions
- U.S. Work Authorization required
- Must be able to type a minimum of 50 WPM

- Position may require unassisted travel to client locations and may be for several days at a time
- Sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, lifting or carrying, raising or lowering, transporting, or holding objects
- Reaching overhead; extending arms with hands higher than the head, bending elbows and the angle at the shoulders is about 90 degrees or more, or elbow extended and the angle at the shoulder is about 120 degrees or more
- Stooping, crouching, kneeling for long periods of time; able to bend the body forward and downward while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below waist level or down toward an object or near the ground, and bending legs at the knees to come to rest on knee(s)
- Must be able to speak clearly, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word to impart oral information to clients and to convey detailed spoken instruction accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds
- Clarity of vision while working with small objects or reading small print, and the ability to recognize features
