We are looking for an Associate Director of UX Research & Product Strategy. This position is required on-site 5 days/week in either Austin, Dallas or Bothell. This person will lead and support a team in the planning and design of discovery and evaluative research, particularly for strategic product initiatives. Description: Collaborate with leadership to define product and UX research strategy and oversee the execution of user research that supports the design and development of products. 8+ years experience performing and leading UX research in a product-development environment and 2+ years experience leading and developing UX researchers. MS or PhD in a human behavior-related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science) Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and generative and evaluative research methods. Proven record uncovering, synthesizing, and distributing actionable insights that informed product strategy and decisions. Experience facilitating cross-functional working sessions and/or workshops with product partners, peers, and stakeholders. Strong understanding of the Jobs-to-be-done framework. The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $180,000-220,000 annually. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
