POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Senior Electrical Technician to join our team and support the groundbreaking mission of the Space Force. The MCSB SST Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for providing electrical support and ensuring the smooth operation of building functions. This role requires immediate response to emergencies, regular checks of building systems, and assistance with various maintenance tasks. The technician also plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance with base Civil Engineering (CE) specifications.

Emergency Electrical Support:



  • Provide immediate and effective electrical support during emergency situations to ensure safety and continuity of operations.


Daily Building Checks:



  • Conduct daily inspections of building functions and operations to identify and address any issues promptly.


Contractor Assistance:



  • Assist other team members by escorting contractors within the facility, ensuring adherence to security protocols.


Compliance Assurance:



  • Ensure that the building operates within the specifications set by base CE, maintaining high standards of functionality and safety.


Hands-On Support:



  • Offer hands-on technical support and quick reactions during duty hours to address any arising electrical issues.


Cross Utilization/Additional Duties:

HVAC and Plumbing Support:



  • Aid HVAC and plumbing projects supporting facility manager and Mechanical Technician, fostering a collaborative team environment.


Rack and Computer Room Contractors:



  • Manage and support contractors working on rack and computer room installations, ensuring all tasks are completed to required standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Requirements:




  • Extensive experience in electrical maintenance and support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Proficiency in conducting building inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to assist and coordinate with various contractors and team members.
  • Flexibility to support cross-functional duties and provide hands-on technical support.
