Position Summary:

In the Sales Compensation Specialist position, you'll manage monthly and quarterly sales bonus cycles, ensuring accurate calculations, approvals, and payouts. You'll maintain documentation, identify process improvements, and collaborate with senior analysts to design and model effective compensation plans, serving as a subject matter expert in sales compensation.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Calculate sales incentives and bonuses in collaboration with the sales operations team.

  • Maintain and update sales compensation documentation and business rules.

  • Manage the bonus approval process, ensuring timely and accurate approvals and file compilation.

  • Ensure accurate and timely transfer of bonus data to payroll.

  • Leverage AI, along with other technologies, to identify and improve processes and boost efficiency.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, addressing inquiries from sales leaders and stakeholders regarding compensation plans and business rules.

  • Collaborate with Technology and AI teams to maintain accurate sales compensation reporting, and uncover trends and insights into compensation data

  • Monitor compensation plan performance and provide analyses on key metrics.

  • Support the annual incentive compensation planning process by capturing and documenting new requirements.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference towards Business Administration, Business Management, or a similar focus.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales, operations, or administrative position

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience using ChatGPT, CoPilot, or other Generative AI tools

  • Prior experience in a sales operations or sales compensation function

  • Prior experience leveraging ICM Software

  • Experience with SQL and Power BI
