The Command Support Director for the Contract at the US Army Electronic Proving Ground, Ft Huachuca, AZ provides critical leadership and management for over 50 personnel within the Command Support Directorate. The Directorate provides daily logistics, supply, facilities and communication support to TEAM EPG, ensuring the operational readiness and viability of the entire range operation. The Command Support Director is a key member of the Program Manager's Leadership Team, providing strategic planning, leadership, management and advice.

Educational/Training Requirements:

.

Bachelors Degree and 8 years' experience, or any combination of relevant education and experience

.

Extensive experience with a variety of support operations concepts, practices, and procedures, including Logistics, Facilities Maintenance and Repair, TMDE Calibration, Motor Pool Operations, Supply Operations, Government Furnished Property and Materials Management, etc. Provides oversight and guidance for all EPG Command Support operations to include communications and infrastructure

Required Skills/Experience: (List any specific skills required and amount of experience necessary to perform job. i.e. Supervisory experience, certification/license, driver's license, security clearance)

Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, cost estimation, financial analysis and support operations planning, as well as sub contract management. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals,capable for performing multiple tasks, and leads and directs the work of others.

Project Management certification and/or supervisory experience in work related to support operations is preferred

Work Environment: (A description of the type of work environment (e.g., office environment, warehouse, etc.) Also specify any notable conditions, e.g., level of noise intensity, etc.)

Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting).

Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers, EPG Customer, and all levels of Management.

.

No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.

.

Work site is located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

Physical Demands: (Indicate any special requirements, e.g., walking, lifting, travel requirements, etc.)

Exerts up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, or up to 5 lbs. of force constantly to move objects

Other Skills and Abilities: (i.e., communication and mathematical skills, reasoning ability, etc.)

Regular hours will be between Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.

Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

.

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers.

.

Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written

.

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others

.

Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner

.

Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects.

This may involve airline travel. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion
