Position Details:

Job Title: UX Researcher

Contract role , fully remote

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Researcher to join our team with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. You will contribute to the design and execution of user research initiatives, helping to inform product development with human-centered insights.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Formulate human-centered research questions, hypotheses, and strategies to guide research efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure research aligns with product goals and timelines.
• Design and implement usability studies and product testing to evaluate product performance and user satisfaction.
• Analyze research data and generate actionable insights to improve product usability and user experience.
• Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders, ensuring insights are actionable and clearly understood.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in user experience research and apply them to improve research methods and outcomes.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following (or related fields):
  Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 8+ years of User Experience Research experience,
  OR
• Master's Degree in one of the following (or related fields):
  Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 6+ years of User Experience Research experience,
  OR
• Doctorate Degree in one of the following (or related fields):
  Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 3+ years of User Experience Research experience,
  OR
• Equivalent Experience.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

1. 5+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods (including formulating research questions, hypotheses, or strategies).
2. 5+ years of experience with data collection and analysis, including analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights.
3. 5+ years of experience with usability and product testing, including documentation, reporting, and creating actionable insights for product improvements.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in tools for data analysis (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, etc.) and usability testing platforms.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex research findings to non-technical stakeholders.
