Manager, Logistics

Drive efficiency and ensure smooth sailing for the Marvin fleet as a Logistics Manager! In this role, you'll develop, communicate, and lead the physical distribution of Marvin products. You'll plan the effective use of routes, trucks and trailers to meet delivery requirements. The goal is to provide the highest possible level of service in the safest way possible when transporting our materials.

The ideal candidate has strong distribution and logistics experience, preferably within the industrial consumer product space. You should also have a cost-conscious approach to planning, and experience managing a team. If this sounds like your perfect role, we invite you to apply.

Manage logistical operations including route planning, driver dispatch, fleet maintenance, and more.

• Work with customers, suppliers, and corporate teams to identify the most efficient and cost-conscious transportation of products.

• Ensure that the policies and procedures around productivity, inventory management, and material handling are implemented across the business.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.

• 5-10 years of distribution or logistics experience within industrial consumer products.

• Working knowledge of electronic logging device and route optimization software

• Ability to collaborate with third-party logistics providers

• Bachelor's degree in a related-field.

• Experience with just-in-time material flow, MRPII, logistics simulation software, and driver supervision.
