The Department and Clinical Operations Manager for the GI and Cardiology Job Description
The Department and Clinical Operations Manager for the GI and Cardiology divisions within the Department of Medicine is responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, and fiscal activities of the divisions and their associated research units. This role ensures compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, supports clinical operations, identifies growth opportunities, and collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: * Direct the operational and administrative functions of the GI and Cardiology divisions. Research Operations Leadership: * Develop and implement departmental plans and priorities to meet short-and/or long-term research objectives and address any research and operational challenges Fiscal Management: * Ensure the financial health of the GI and Cardiology divisions. Clinical Operations: * Identify market opportunities for new outreach initiatives and enhance awareness of service lines. Growth and Development: * Work closely with the Senior Director to develop and direct the strategic business plan for the divisions. Shift
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a health or business related field. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related area. Experience with finance and performance improvement. Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $90,251 - $118,000 Application Materials
